Q & A

What is the dress code?
We want everyone to feel comfortable while still looking polished and stylish for the indoor ceremony. The dress code is smart casual to semi-formal.

For men, collared shirts such as polos or button-downs are great options and can be paired with jeans, slacks, or performance pants — no tie required. The same general guidance applies to women, and dresses are also a wonderful choice.

We'll be offering an optional foraging walk as part of the celebration, so comfortable shoes are strongly encouraged.

Please note: athleisure is not appropriate for the ceremony itself, but you're welcome to change into it afterward for the outdoor activities. Ashley and Naman
Where is the ceremony located?
The ceremony will be held at the Gwinnett Environmental and Heritage Center at 2020 Clean Water Dr, Buford, GA 30519.

The event begins with an indoor portion for exchanging vows and lunch, followed by a combination of indoor and outdoor activities around the museum. Guests are free to explore throughout the rest of the celebration.
What kind of food will be served?
We'll have a catered lunch buffet featuring dishes from some of our favorite local restaurants and cooks. If you have any food allergies, please note them on your RSVP so we can plan accordingly.
Will there be parking?
Yes — the museum has ample parking and it's free for guests.
My invitation only contains my name. What if I would like to bring a plus-one?
This initial wedding event is designed to be a small, tight-knit gathering of our closest friends and family, so we've carefully curated the guest list based on our venue and budget. We'll be having a much larger event later where there will be plenty of opportunities to bring others, so we're asking to please limit attendance to those who have been invited.

We tried to accommodate guests by ensuring their friends, spouses, or family are also present, but if you would really prefer to bring someone, please contact Ashley and Naman before RSVPing to discuss.
Are children welcome?
Children are the one exception to the plus-one rule. If you're unable to find childcare, or if you think your little ones would enjoy some of the nature activities we'll be offering, feel free to bring them! Just be sure to note the correct number of guests in your party and include their names on your RSVP.

Our Story

Ashley and Naman at golden hour

Like many couples these days, Ashley and I met online. It was 2020, the world was upside down, and we both happened to be on OkCupid.

Ashley was interested in my powerlifting, and liked that I cooked and gamed. I liked, well, just about everything about her. What started as casual messages quickly turned into the kind of texting where you check your phone too often, and a few months in we both knew this was something worth meeting in person for.

Roswell Mill, our first date

Our first date was a hike at Roswell Mill Waterfall. We both loved nature, and it was peak COVID, so the outdoors felt safest anyway. Despite warning her that I'm usually late, I was so eager to meet Ashley I showed up early so I could make a good impression. Meanwhile Ashley was at the nearby Michael's and figured she had plenty of time to kill.

She did not, but after a phone call and a frantic drive over to the park, she profusely apologized, and we went on a wonderful hike by the river. Afterward, we still wanted to keep hanging out, so we grabbed lunch at one of my favorite BBQ spots.

I'd love to say the rest is history, but that would gloss over all the wonderful things we've done together in the last six years. We've become homeowners and furbaby parents, traveled together across the country and the world, and ticked off a handful of US national parks in some incredible trips.

We've also learned that good relationships take real work, and choosing each other, again and again, has been the easiest decision we've ever made.

Adventures Together

A few of the places we've gone, and the people we've gone with.

Thank you for being part of our story.
We can't wait to celebrate with you.
